I really enjoyed the tour and learning so much more about George Washington, his life, and the many interesting stories surrounding him. There was a lot of history packed into the visit, and the stories really brought it all to life.
One of the highlights was going up to the balcony, about 300 feet above Alexandria, where you get a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area. It’s an impressive perspective and definitely worth seeing.
A fascinating place, a great tour, and lots of history. If you’re visiting Alexandria or looking for something a little different to experience in the DC area, this is definitely worth checking out.
